Looks like all is not well on Bennison’s sinking ship. Not only is he in dire straits financially, desperate for paying clients and very likely in contempt of court, looks like his fans are also turning against him and his little empire may be crumbling.
Yesterday, Bennison made this post, desperately seeking another paying client:
It didn’t take long for Mark Bowley, posting as John the Baptist, to object to Jason’s proposal of a detailed assessment and provide a simple solution, leaving Jason totally out of the loop, and his potential client without a reason to pay for a consultation, let alone further services that could lead to the involvement of a law firm.
Bennison was undeterred and made a new post defending his arguments for a detailed assessment and making his usual promises of big payouts at the expense of bailiff companies, the same kind of promises he made to other punters who ended up losing money in the process. This time, Pote came to the fore, warning against the detailed assessment.
Pote and Jason keep arguing on the thread and refer to this other thread, also about Bristow & Sutor: Bristow Sutor Threats. When you consider that these are Bennison’s only Two Fans and Loyal Followers, you get an idea of how bad things are, and this didn’t start yesterday!
One year review, two week punch-up
We have previously seen how they disagreed on this thread: One year review two years late. It is quite obvious there are plenty of disagreements between them, but Jason has learned how to defuse the situation: when it gets too close for comfort, just mention the usual suspects, that never fails to have the desired effect of making the argument go away. Bennison and his followers find common ground, kiss and make up, as can be seen here: Page Two. Note how quickly Pote comes around and says:
No-one’s worrying about your typing errors. I hope you don’t mean taking the mickey out of you? We reserve that for the 4 dinosaurs elsewhere.
There may be trouble ahead…
Less than two weeks ago, we had a poster who paid the court directly and thought he could get away with not paying the fees. We know Jason keeps providing this advice despite plentiful evidence that it doesn’t work; this issue has been covered quite extensively here: Paying Magistrates Courts direct, really? But there is something else on that thread that’s worthy of attention, and that’s both Pote the Mushroom and Mark rebelling against their Master! True to form, Bennison said the poster could make a personal injury claim. Some readers may be familiar with this case, where the claimant, also assisted by Bennison, made a rather large personal injury claim which was totally unjustified: Plane owner loses £3.3 million claim against bailiffs.
Here we can see both fans rebelling in a very different way, Pote is polite and factual, while Mark says:
I think there’s more chance of winning tonights Euromillions than there is succeeding with a personal injury claim.
Says it all, doesn’t it? But Bennison is undeterred and says:
The Client can make up his own mind what he chooses to pursue.
The argument continues and Mark ends up losing his cool as it’s customary and telling the poster to pay the “f*ng money*! The poster, who, by now, is under Jason’s spell, accuses Mark, who is trying to save him from the clutches of Bennison’s greed, is accused of taking the bailiff’s side! The argument between Bennison and Bowley just goes on and on, and the thread can be seen in its full glory below.
The thread speaks for itself!
